Storm Chasing

I’m currently updating this section, so enjoy the summary of my storm-chasing career thus far!

Cordell, OK, April 10, 2001. My first tornado, seen at sunset.


September 17, 2004 - Incredible view outside Sumerduck, Fauquier County, VA. We were watching the top of an F3 tornado as it levelled parts of Remington, VA.


September 17, 2004 - Tornadic storm outside Bealeton, VA, Fauquier County. Storm was producing two tornadoes at this time.


September 17, 2004 - The tornado outside Warrenton, VA as it was about to cross US 29 at rush hour.


September 17, 2004 - Another storm’s funnel, which was a tornado only minutes before we arrived. We “core-punched” through torrential rain only to find ourselves mere yards away from this.


April 15, 2006 - “Hail Fog” in King George County, VA after a large hail fall.

May 11, 2006 - Todd’s Tavern, Spotsylvania, VA - tornado less than 150 yards away.

June 9, 2006 - Outside Yankton, South Dakota - A “Hail Bow”.
